I think I've been on a roll here lately. The other afternoon, I was randomly inspired to try making bunny ears and what do you know? I think I did a pretty good job! These ears were initially intended for Dexter's Easter shoot this year but I also had to embrace my inner child in the process.

Materials:
4 weight Pink Yarn
Yarn Needle
Abbreviations:
st(s) - Stitch(es)
sl st - slip stitch
ch - chain
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
hdc3tog - half double crochet 3 together
Pattern:
The Head Band:
Take a headband wire and sc around it until it is completely covered.
Leave extra long tails if you want to be able to tie the headband later.
Place stitch markers at even intervals where you want to place your ears.
The Ears:
Make 2
With White Yarn: Start with a slip knot and ch 9. Join the chain in a round with a sl st
Round 1: Ch 2, hdc into each st around, close row with a sl st
Round 2: Ch 3, dc into each st around, close row with a sl st
Round 3: Ch 3, make two dc into each st around, close row with a sl st
Round 4: * Pull up a big loop as to not lose your stitch and count over 5 sts, place a stitch marker. Count over 8 sts and place another stitch marker. * Ch 2, hdc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: hdc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: hdc into st with stitch marker in it. Continue to hdc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 5: Ch 2, hdc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: hdc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: Continue to hdc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 6: Ch 3, dc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: dc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: Continue to dc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 7: Ch 3, dc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: dc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: Continue to dc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 8: Ch 3, dc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: dc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: Continue to dc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 9: Ch 3, dc in each of the next 5 sts. Change to pink: dc into each of the next 7 sts, Change to white: Continue to dc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 10: Ch 2, hdc in each of the next 6 sts. Change to pink: hdc into each of the next 5 sts, Change to white: hdc into next. Continue to hdc until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 11: Ch 2, hdc in each of the next 7 sts. Change to pink: hdc3tog across each of the next 3 sts, hdc into next st. Change to white: hdc into next st. hdc into next 3 sts, hdc3tog, make one hdc in each st until the end of the round, close with a sl st
Round 12: Ch 2, hdc into next st, hdc3tog, make a hdc into the next 4 sts. Change to Pink: make 1 hdc in next st. Change to white, make 1 hdc into the next 2 sts. Hdc3tog, hdc into last st, close row with a sl st.
Round 13: Ch 2, hdc into each st around, close row with a sl st
Round 14: Ch 2, *hdc into next st, hdc3tog] end with a hdc2tog close row with a sl st
Round 15: Ch 2, hdc into each st around, close row with a sl st
Round 16: Sl st top of ear closed.
Add polyfil to them to give your project a little life. With a yarn needle, attach the ears to the predesignated areas you marked with your stitch markers.
