Hello there!

I'd wanted to learn the fiber arts since I was about 9 years old. Being from a family of creative folk having a seamstress grandmother, one could say I was predisposed to it! Growing up, I was nerdy but always had love in my heart for all things creative. This led me on a journey of pursuing the arts: whether that be first chair clarinet in orchestra band or teaching myself digital art. Coming up, I didn't have much outlet to express myself at home so as I got older, my need to create became just that. 

I learned to crochet in 2013 and knit in 2015. When it came to the whole two needle thing, your girl was STRUGGLING! But I figured it out eventually. It became a sort of catharsis that I soon wanted to share with others. I used to call my business 'Infiniti Crochet' when I started out in 2016 and I knew then that it would work only for a little while. 

Infiniti Crafting Company started out as a desire to learn crochet and a dream to run my own business. I didn't attend high school and given my lack of educational opportunity at the time, I wanted to do something worthwhile that didn't depend on that factor. At the age of 15, I first learned crochet by watching videos and making many, many errors. By the age of 17, it became both a form of therapy and a gateway to entrepreneurship. The business started off with a small group of in-person students and clientele.

This space is a dream that has been in the works since 2016, when I believe God gave me a vision for its future. I started this venture as I entered my first year in community college and now, I'm on a mission to make this my full-time career. I started publishing my crochet/knit designs circa 2018. At the time, I was majoring in fine arts and k-12 education. Once I transferred to Fontbonne University to study fine art (painting & ceramics concentration) and business administration. I continue to use my varied and valued experiences to better cater to my Crafty community.

Further more, pursuing my own business has given me the opportunity to explore and speak about my faith as a Christian woman. When I finally started making social media for Infiniti Crafting Co, I knew that I wanted to have a guiding scripture for it. It took me some time because I honestly have a lot of favorites but, the most fitting one felt like Psalm 90:17.

You see back in 2016, I had been heavily studying the promises and blessings of God. Since I was so inclined toward working with my hands, scriptures like Deuteronomy 28:12, 1 Thessalonians 4:11, & Psalm 90:17 spoke to me on a different level. Of all of them, the last one fit the best!

For many years, I thought that my mission was to simply use my gift for teaching to edify others. I would quietly interject my faith into project titles or during in Channel Chats. But around 2023, I started feeling convicted, that I could do more for the Kingdom. I took a long hiatus from my artistry in 2024 to focus on family but during that time, I experienced a level of trial and sanctification that drove me to the lowest I'd ever been. But it also drove me to return to my craft in 2025 and to be loud and forward about my Christian faith. God blessed me to have a large platform and in turn, I will use it for His Glory.
