Happy New Year Crafties!
Blessed to be here with you all and I'm looking forward to all the things that 2026 has to offer!
If you're seeing this blog, that means I've come to the end of a grapple session of ideas. Since the
launch of this site, I've always found most of my motivation to blog around the beginning of the year and then it fizzles out. 😅
Looking back, honestly, that's how my social battery operates too but that's neither here nor there. Since returning, I've been praying about the direction I wanted to take my business overall and since October, that focus has mostly been on social media. But as I look at this place I've created (and continue to pay for lol) I often feel lacking for content to post regularly. I love the fiber arts as much as the next designer but there's only so much I can yap about enough to make into blogs.
These days, I mainly publish blog content for Hey Craftepreneur! (the pattern club) and maybe something for channel chats. Let's face it, most craft content has been done before and while I'll still come up with material for that, I'd also like to bring more depth to my blog. To give people that extra personal look into the person behind the machine.
This morning, the internet was out (I'm going somewhere, I promise) and in the quiet with my coffee, I decided to crack open the Psalms. While journalling about it, the idea came to me to start using some of my personal blogs for these expanded musings. After all, I already share scripture on my channel(s) on Mondays. There's only so much one can stuff into a 1 - 3 minute video and considering that so much of what I do is spear headed by my faith, why not blog about it?
The goal with this material isn't preachy but rather to offer encouragement to those who may come across it.
