How your email finds me...

Hello Crafties!
There are so many new faces here and I wanted to say welcome and thank you for being a member of my community here. I can only assume that many who frequent here found Infiniti Crafting Co. from a random social media post or perhaps a YT or Rumble video. That's stellar because social media is the only reason any of this exists and I wanted to take the time to highlight the places you can find my content outside of my website.
Why's it such a big deal?
Believe it or not, I'm more accessible on social channels than through website chat. The chat/email is mainly for pressing questions from Crafties or for business opportunities. My social profiles are more for interacting and getting to know the folks that enjoy my creative content.
I am way more active on some of these than others and I'll be sure to outline that for each!
If you use any of these, give me a follow! I promise I don't bite 💖
So here's my list of social media from most active to least and what they're for:
It will always be Twitter in my heart, okay? I'm absolutely the most active here outside of my video channels. It's a fun, small space where I drop random thoughts and BTS looks into what I'm working on for Infiniti Crafting Co. If I'm quiet on all other platforms, I'm probably there.
Especially if I'm hyperfocusing on something, I'll resurface over there for signs of life purposes. 😂 But beyond that, I enjoy musing and interacting with legitimate friends over there. I usually respond within minutes or hours, depending on what's going on with me.
Instagram is my second most used social site by far. Even when I wasn't posting, I was lurking and doom-scrolling my various interests. Honestly, IG is the one place that I genuinely enjoy posting to and is where you'll see all Infiniti Crafting Co. news. Sometimes I throw reels out there just to see what they'll do in the sea of things.
I think it'd be fun to grown this platform but that could just be the nostalgia talking.
I post similar things on Facebook/Meta as I do on IG! Though sometimes I post things earlier or exclusively to my FB page. In 2023, I accidentally revived it with some yarn ed. reels and it's been relatively interactive since then! I check it nearly as often as IG though my own responses are a little delayed over there because Meta's notification game is lacking at best. So give me some grace there 💖.
Touching back on Channel Chat 151, I'll pour into where my community is.
A big part of why I continued to create tutorials for so long was because of that community engagement and helping others thrive. Now that I'm back, I still want that engagement but, I would love it by way of conversation, you know? To have a sect that enjoys my content for me, the person rather than just the educator.
So when the algorithms throw my posts your way, I'd love it if you left a little ❤️ or comment, even if it's just to say hi.
You'd be better off sending a smoke signal and a prayer, friends. And I feel so bad about it because I used to LOVE Pinterest but I haven't really used it since the beginning of 2024. You can find much of my older content and pattern ideas there. I wouldn't mind a follow but I'm warning that I sometimes forget it exists if I'm not browsing my own website.
Lol.
My relationship with TikTok is...something. It's so low on my list because I don't have the app on my phone or really any easily accessible device. I check it periodically to schedule posts and answer questions when they arise. I've attempted to grow it over the years and even more so, since re-emerging from hiatus. Sometimes I post my feistier clips over there that don't get seen anywhere else and, dearly beloved, that could be why my traction has been slow 😂.
I get email notifications for goings on over there in the meanwhile.
Coming off hiatus, I decided I wanted to put out more reflective, Christ-pilling content within my fiber arts niche. Some of that is seen on my video channels, especially YT. And really it's just a space where I can put my written musings into words. As you can imagine, that's a lot less popular than being the silly fiber arts lady but, it's definitely more fulfilling.
Which is needed in order to keep this new flame of inspiration going. For so long, it's felt like I was creating in a box that I couldn't stray out of. Or that discussing much outside of my interests in the fiber arts would be frowned upon. But after such a dramatic and nasty bought of burn out last year and a decline of my own making, I decided to not care anymore. And in that I was reminded of Matthew 16:24-25, which talks about how you lose your life when you try to keep it.
So I've been merrily recording or writing my inspired musings and chucking them into the abyss of the internet like fun little grenades. Let me tell you, Crafties, it's been nice finding communion while doing so.
Anyhow, if I keep writing this will turn into a psuedo-bible study and it's currently 11:48pm 😂.
Thanks so much for dropping by today and supporting this creative space I've built. 💖
Until next time,
Happy Making!
