A Merry Christmas from My Home to Yours

I would be remiss if I didn't come through for my favorite holiday of the year. Christ is born and has died for the salvation of us all.

'And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. '

John 1:14 KJV

Good day, Crafties! I pray that you and yours are finding rest and peace during this feast day. We certainly are in my clan and I couldn't be more grateful! There's been lots of little last minute touches I've been working on for you guys and I can't wait to share them all with you.

First and foremost, keeping with tradition, I've put up a Channel Chat for the community this year. The holidays are a time of wind down and reflection and often, we get lost in those thoughts whether they are good or bad. Each year, I make a video to hang out and have something of a heart-to-heart with my Crafty community to remind you that you are not alone. I am glad to have you here in my herd and God also loves you, at whatever stage of life you're in. So join me as we catch up in this lax Channel Chat:

The thumbnail says "The Last Chat of the Year" and so I'd love to share my biggest takeaway(s) from 2025.

At the top of the video, I mentioned how so many have had a rough go this year. Personally, some days it feels like I've lived 5 years in this one with all that lead up to me coming back in October. But all thanks to God for pulling me through. After some reflection, This was a year of reforging. The coals may have been hot but the iron feels stronger, you know?

I don't know your situation and only the Lord knows the future but perhaps a group of us have been in a season of sanctification to lead us to a greater purpose ahead. Certainly from where I'm sitting, I can see the vague bones of things to come in the next year but that wasn't the case a few months ago. And I certainly didn't have the same mindset that I do now. Even seeing a glimpse of the better days ahead, I have no idea in what pacing or capacity things may happen but all I can do is trust God and continue to look up!

If you're more focused on things above, of the positive and good and true, it's hard to be bothered by where your feet land because you know that all things work together for good for those who love God. And that scripture alone has been SO powerful for me this year while trying to endure. It might not be easy and you may be feeling pain and confusion but its those times when we're in the trenches where God wants us to place our faith in Him.

And that's where I'm at going into 2026. My heart and mind are not in the same place they were this time a year ago and I think in most regards, I'm better for it. I pray that this next chapter is a smoother one for us all and for perseverance through the storms.

God Bless everyone and Happy Making! 💖
