It's The Little Things For Me

Last night, I recorded Channel Chat 81 and in doing so, I finally unboxed all of that wonderful

yarn I'd bought! I can't wait to share that with you all. But the reason I'm writing about it is because it seems like my whole space took on a new atmosphere. I was up until about 1am reorganizing my yarn shelves and when I got done, it was like the peace of the Lord just took over the whole basement.

I know you guys are like, "Really Infiniti???" But yes. He works with some of the smallest things to bring us the most joy. For a while now, I've been having some doubts about my business because things don't seem to be flowing right. I'm taking time out to continue to pray about it and recalibrate because this business is one that I believe God spoke to me about back in 2016. In my opinion, there's no way that I could think up a plan like that and just see the whole future before me if God didn't put it there. I'm not that great of a mind.

I feel very...at home...centered...at peace when I am making both items and content for my

community. Its an odd thing to describe but, I know that this is what I'm supposed to be doing. Last night, seeing how full and diverse my shelves were, gave me a bit of hope. I feel kinda professional over here! I think it's important to understand that as human beings, sometimes we need that little pat on the head as an affirmation. It's so easy to get discouraged when you're pursuing your life mission and the Lord knows just how to keep you on the path.

I know that's a really philosophical way to look at some yarn but this is where I'm at. I've been working so hard on everything over the last few years and there has been no shortage of frustration and tears. However, I'm slowly starting to find success in what I'm doing so I'm trying my best to keep my eyes on that and remain grateful.

This morning, I was able to invest in a new SD card for my camera! It's 128 GB so now I don't have to stop to unload video to continue recording. I'm also wondering if it'll allow me to record

more than 10 minutes at a time. That'd be a plus but not necessary. My original SD card is like 24 GB and has served me well over the last...3 years now?

Speaking of upgrades, I wrote a blog over on Ko-fi about upgrading my external hard drive. As you all know, I've been uploading WAY more content since the beginning of 2020. Video files are enormous, not to mention all the art files and what nots that have to do with Infiniti Crafting Co. Now that I'm kicking up Artsy Saturdays again, I'm going to need a lot more space.

This new beast that I'm going to spring for will be 8TB (my current one is 4TB). I was thinking that if 4TB lasted me from 2019 until now in 2021, 8TB should take me a little further. I use external hard drives in order to back up all of my data which is so important considering the volatility of the web.

My revenue right now is in the gutter so we'll see what happens later in the summer. 😅

I DID get a ring light... finally! I'm still of the mind to start doing lives (maybe in summer) or if I do interviews, I can look proper now. Pretty soon, I'm going to have so get a new equipment bag here. I'm absolutely thrilled and grateful for these small developments y'all.

Each time I've stepped into my studio today, I just smiled. I truly have made my happy space.
