Wheel Thrown Stoneware Knitting Needle Holder - Caterina

This knitting needle vase is one of the only pieces from this recent batch that is made from brown stoneware. The goal was to replicate a glazing technique across multiple clay bodies. I would definitely call Caterina a success!
 
The brown clay body beneath the glaze gives the piece an earthy quality that I enjoy with other firing methods.
