GoodReads Blanket Patch with Graph [Free Crochet Pattern]

Last weekend would have been an amazing opportunity to sit back and start hacking away at my massive physical TBR, I spent it reading patterns instead. 😅

It was well worth it though! This blanket patch pattern was a spur-of-the-moment thing that came to mind while working on another design. One of the hobbies I don't really talk about is my love for reading. As a kid, it was a form of escapism and empowerment in an environment where I had none of that. As an adult, it's something that I enjoy with such fondness. I love a good story and have read a great many genres.

I think that people don't give the literary arts enough credit but they do exactly what the visual arts do...but with words! When a work is written well, it creates entire new worlds in the mind of the reader and can make an impact on them for life. The inverse is also true. But that's all part of the creative field though. The good and the bad combined with the human condition paves the way for more creativity down the road.

If that doesn't make you euphoric, I don't know what will!

2. This pattern can also be knit. Just follow the graph in alternating rows of knits and purls to get that flat stockinette look.

4 weight, worsted yarn in:

Color A - Buff/tan

Color B - Coffee/brown

4.00mm crochet hook (really a 5.00 will do just as well, I just wanted tighter tension for my project.)
