I. Am. Stoked! This year will be ending on a crafty high note! Why? My favorite yarn from Darn Good Yarn has reappeared and I couldn't be happier! Back over the summer, you'll recall that I stitched up a summer top for a CAL using Darn Good Yarn's Peek-a-Boo Lace Weight.
As I continued my design, I started falling even harder for the photogenic fiber and reached out to the team because it was showing unavailable on their site. Now, keep in mind, I purchased my hanks around December 2020 and it had been living on my shelf up to that moment. So, I was a little anxious about the answer to my question and just as I'd feared... there was no plan to restock this yarn...discontinued.
Well, a week before my birthday this year, I got an unassuming little email that said this item on my wishlist was back in stock. I did a double-take! As you all may recall, I've been catching it like crazy here lately with these different fibers getting discontinued mid-project. So I did what any sensible crafty would... I went on a little haul.
Yes, on Black Friday, I went and scooped up as many hanks as I could plus an extra colorway of their lace weight silk that caught my eye.
