Good day Crafties! Today I've stumbled across more new colors from Lion Brand Yarns. It feels like Christmas in May!
Lion Brand Heartland yarn is a fantastic fiber that offers a soft, buttery texture and is paired with a satiny sheen. It is a 4-weight yarn that comes in solid and tweed color variety. In a skein of LB Heartland solids you get 251 yds of yarn and 200 yds in the tweed. The solids are made from 100% premium acrylic and the tweed is made with 94% premium acrylic and 6% rayon.
So why am I excited about these new colors?
If you recall, this yarn had a feature in Channel Chat 81 because it was the yarn of choice for the Infiniti Beanie crochet pattern.
The new colors offered here are:
Being a St. Louis native, I am especially excited for the Gateway Arch colorway. Though its an unexpected take on the monument, I think that the orange shade would be perfect for this fall hat design.
What will you be making with these new colors? What's your favorite project to do with LB Heartland?
