Maker ShoutOut: Watch Barbara Knit

I stumbled across this video one Saturday last month and I found it to be really insightful. There are a lot of things that I knew about copyrighting patterns because in teacher school, they are really tough about fair use and what you can and cannot use in a classroom. There's also the fact that I write patterns myself and I've done a bit of research on how to protect my property.

I found that Barbara puts everything into a very easy to understand context for those who may not be familiar with all the jargon and whatnots. Let's face it, copyright law is complex and a lot of us get intimidated by it but there's no need! Check out her channel for more insightful tips and check out her blog for beautiful knitwear patterns!
