New Crochet Water Bottle Sling [F.O.]

Hello Crafties!

Today I wanted to show off my new water bottle cozy. The other one was made with more autumn-like colors so, I decided it was time to change it up.

I have a 64 oz metal sports bottle and to say the least, it gets a little cumbersome to carry around when I'm on campus and elsewhere. That's what inspired this pattern to be written up in the first place. When made right, it wears just like a purse or small cross body.

I get a lot of compliments on my various slings too when I'm out and that brings a huge smile to my face.

When I wrote the pattern, I used 3 skeins of Lily Sugar' n Cream Super-sized to start the design. I love using this spike stitch pattern because it doesn't really stretch, which adds to the longevity of the item.

So as previously stated, I wanted to do something a little different with the color combo this go around and that's how I landed on purple, sage green, and mint. To be honest, it didn't feel right in the beginning but I decided to trust the process and all that jazz.

I really like how it turned out! And with my new patches, I was able to finish it off in true Infiniti Crafting Co. style!

I did manage to make two of these that fit water bottles that measure 5.5 inches across the bottom. Initially I wanted to release a couple in late April but, I'm having to push everything back toward the summer update. Keep an eye out on Instagram for new makes that will soon make their way to the Handmade Shop!
