The Ko-fi Button Crochet Patch Free Pattern

Updated: Jun 5, 2022

Three years ago I started using Ko-fi.com as a means to supporting my content on Infiniti Crafting Co (now ArtsyChiitos also). Since then, I've seen some amazing support that has enabled me to upgrade equipment for the channel and in part fund the launch of my own website.

I designed a crochet patch (someday I'll make the blanket 🤣) which I ended up retiring for a time as I looked for places to host my patterns. Well, I've now updated that pattern and it can be found in the Free Patterns tab of my website.

Content creation can be touch but, with the continued support of my community, I am able to make everything possible so thank you all!

Please enjoy this free pattern and happy making!

Scissors

Fray Check *optional

5.00 mm Crochet hook (U.S. size 8)

Ch—chain

Hdc—half double crochet

Y/o—yarn over

Pattern:

Using Color A, make a slip knot and ch 35.

Row 1: Y/o and make a hdc in the 2nd ch from your hook, proceed to

make a hdc in each ch until the end of the row. (35 hdc, ch 2 counts as a stitch)

Rows 2-7: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 1 hdc in each stitch across.

Rows 8-9: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 4 more hdc, the last hdc

you make, should not be completed as this is a color change row.

Y/o and pull up a loop but, instead of completing the stitch in Turqua, use the white.

Now that you’ve connected your yarn Color B, proceed to make 13 hdc.

You will not complete that 13th hdc but, change back to Color A and finish out the row in hdc.

Row 10: Ch and turn your work. Y/o and make 2 more hdc, do not complete that last hdc

because we will be changing color. Connect Color B and make 17 hdc.

Do not complete the last hdc as you will be reconnecting Color A and completing the row in hdc.

Row 11: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 12 hdc, not completing the last stitch.

You will be changing to Color B and making a hdc in the next two stitches,

then change back to Color A and make 2 hdc, change back to Color B and make 13 hdc.

Finally, change back to Color A and finish out the row in hdc.

Row 12: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 4 hdc but, don’t complete the last hdc and change to Color B.

Make 6 hdc but don’t complete the 6th stitch, change to Color C and make 1 hdc. Change back to

Color B and make 6 more hdc, change back to Color A and make 2 hdc, change back to Color B and make 2 hdc, change back to Color A and complete the row in hdc.

*At this point it may be a good idea to start weaving in your ends so that they aren’t a hassle.

Row13: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make a hdc in the next 11 stitches.

Change to Color B and make 2 hdc, then change back to Color A and make 2 hdc.

Change to Color B and make 5 hdc, change to Color C and make 3 hdc, change back to Color B

and make 5 hdc. Change to Color A and complete the row.

Row 14-15: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 4 more hdc and change to Color B

making 4 more hdc. Change to Color C and make 5 hdc, change to Color B and make

Row 16: Ch 2 and turn your work. Y/o and make 4 more hdc, then change to Color B making

5 hdc. Change to Color C and make 1 hdc before changing back to Color B and making 1 hdc.

Now change to Color C and make 1 hdc, change back to Color B and make 5 hdc.

Change to Color A and make 2 hdc, change to Color B and make 2 hdc, change back to Color A and complete the row with hdc.
