It may be my inner teacher speaking but, isn't guided practice the best? I decided to make this pattern to compliment the video tutorial I did for the Tunisian chevron ripple stitch on Infiniti Crafting's YouTube channel.

Materials:
Tunisian Crochet Hook
Fray Check (optional)
Abbreviations:
ch - chain
c/o - cast on
fwp - forward pass
retp - returning pass
tss - Tunisian Simple Stitch
M1 - make 1 increase
3tog - 3 stiches together (decrease)
y/o - yarn over
Pattern:
Row 1: Chain 29 and c/o each stitch to the end (29 loops on the hook)
Row 2: RetP
Row 3: Y/o and tss into 2nd vertical bar. Place 1 tss into the next 4 sts, now 3tog. Place 1 tss into each of the next 5 sts, then M1. Place 1 tss into the next st, M1. Proceed to make 1 tss into the next 5 sts. Y/o and tss into end st.
Row 4: RetP
Row 5: Y/o and tss into 2nd vertical bar. Place 1 tss into the next 4 sts, now 3tog. Place 1 tss into each of the next 5 sts, then M1. Place 1 tss into the next st, M1. Proceed to make 1 tss into the next 5 sts. Y/o and tss into end st.
Row 6: RetP
Row 7: Y/o and tss into 2nd vertical bar. Place 1 tss into the next 4 sts, now 3tog. Place 1 tss into each of the next 5 sts, then M1. Place 1 tss into the next st, M1. Proceed to make 1 tss into the next 5 sts. Y/o and tss into end st.
Row 8: RetP
Row 9: Y/o and tss into 2nd vertical bar. Place 1 tss into the next 4 sts, now 3tog. Place 1 tss into each of the next 5 sts, then M1. Place 1 tss into the next st, M1. Proceed to make 1 tss into the next 5 sts. Y/o and tss into end st.
Row 10: RetP *color change optional*
Repeat Rows 1 - 10, alternating your colors for 11 more sections to make teen-adult size earwarmers! You can fasten off and seam your ends together however you'd normally do so.
